This audiobook collects together ten of her best works of poetry, first published in the collection ‘Poems by Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell’ in 1846. This contained poetry by all three Brontë sisters, writing under pseudonyms to avoid contemporary prejudice.

Wydany nakładem Lampy i Iskry Bożej w 2002 r. debiut literacki Doroty Masłowskiej, późniejszej zdobywczyni Nagrody NIKE w roku 2006 (za poemat „Paw Królowej”). „Wojna Polsko-Ruska pod flagą biało czerwoną” została sfilmowana w reżyserii Xawerego Żuławskiego, z Borysem Szycem w roli głównej; premiera filmu – wiosną 2009 roku.

„Wojna Polsko-Ruska pod flagą bioło czerwoną” została przetłumaczona i wydana w wielu wersjach obcojęzycznych, m.in. po angielsku, niemiecku, rosyjsku, francusku.

Pamiętam jak w 1956 roku przeczytałam "Pierwszy krok w chmurach" Hłaski (...) "Przy wojnie polsko ruskiej" przypomniałam sobie to uczucie. To także książka bardzo dotkliwa.

We may listen with some amusement (and some horror) and even think some of the ideas quaint in the extreme, but the book has been reprinted in the USA recently, with no mention that current thinking on matters sexual may have moved on since 1922...

Katherine Mansfield was the pen name of Kathleen Mansfield Murry (1888-1923), a prominent New Zealand modernist writer of short fiction. She is widely considered one of the best short story writers of her period.
